The MIMITO Crown is a one size fits all pattern and is suitable for both kids and adults.
With its timeless design, this pattern is reversible and completely seamless.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS

All fabrics are suitable for this pattern. Avoid fabrics that are too thick and too stiff.

If your fabric is lightweight and thin, it is recommended to use interfacing or wadding.

This pattern is perfect for any embroidery design you may have in mind.

If you are not sure which fabric to use, look up the hashtag #crownmimito on Instagram for inspiration.

FABRIC USAGE

Less than 1/4m is all you need for this pattern depending on your choice of inner lining. This project is great to use any remnant pieces of fabrics you may have in your stash.

Please note: Make sure your fabric is washed before cutting.

PDF SEWING PATTERN

This pattern contains a Print At Home file which can be printed at home with any standard printer at scale 100%. It contains 3 pages that you need to assemble by cutting the margins and taping the pages together
following the numbers indicated on each page. This file suits both A4 and US Letter printers.

SEAM ALLOWANCES

In this tutorial, we are using a 0.7 cm or 1/4 inch seam allowance and is already included on the pattern.

Tissu recommandé :

Par préférence personnelle, je recommande vivement l’utilisation de tissus en matières naturelles.

Le lin étant mon favori, je vous suggère de ne pas choisir un tissu trop épais (pour qu’il soit facile à manipuler) ni un tissu trop fin (pour ne pas voir la marge de couture au travers).

Pour un meilleur résultat, optez pour un tissu de poids moyen tel que le Lin et le coton.

Ce patron est idéal pour utiliser vos chutes de tissus.

Fournitures :

Chutes de tissus, fils assortis, ruban et ouate. Vous pouvez utiliser n’importe quel type de ouate du moment qu’elle ne soit pas trop épaisse.

Patron en format PDF :

Ce patron est disponible en format A4 et peut être imprimé à la maison.
Assurez-vous d’imprimer à 100% pour que votre patron soit à la bonne échelle.
Après avoir préalablement découpé les marges, alignez les deux feuilles l’une contre l’autre en suivant les indications du patron et scotcher-les pour les maintenir ensemble afin d’obtenir votre pièce de patron complète.
Découper le contour de la couronne de votre patron papier puis positionner-le sur votre tissu et découper le pourtour.
