Zen is a pattern for pants or corsair in jersey available from 2 to 16 years old.

The shape is adjusted to the pelvis, straight at the legs (bootcut cut).

The belt is wide and comfortable. It can be single or tall and folded in half for a perfect fit and support.

Two lengths are available, long or short version. The corsair version features hem bands that tighten the lower legs just below the knee.

Zen can be sewn with both the sewing machine and the overlock / cover sewing machine, see the special supplies sheet for tips on sewing this pattern.

Zen is a good basic for everyday wear, for sport, for a cocooning day or as pajamas. It is easy and very quick to sew.

Footage:

- Jersey (main fabric) pants: 65/70/75/85/90/100/105/110 across width (140 cm) capri pants: 40/45/50/55/60/65/70/75 on width (140 cm)

- Jersey (waistband and hem bands for the corsair version): 25/30/30/35/35/35/40/40 on width (140 cm)

Single belt version (there is no need for elastic for the folded belt):

- Elastic 2 to 3 cm wide: 48 / 51.5 / 55 / 58.5 / 62/66/69/73 cm

Corsair version:

If you want to make the hem bands with ready-made ribbing (Albstoffe brand for example). Band length to provide: 44/47/50/53/56/59/62/65 cm (NOTE: The ribbing bands are knitted ribbons whose bottom is already “hemmed”, so they are sewn in a single layer.)
