This one size fits all pattern and tutorial allow you to create a very cute Peter Pan collar and a Polo collar to add onto any of your child’s clothing with the possibility to add a lace trim around the collar for a cute look.

Recommended fabrics:

I particularly enjoy and recommend natural, recycled and sustainable fabrics. Linen being my favourite I would suggest you choose a medium weight fabric for best results such as cotton, hemp and linen. This project is a great way to use your fabric scraps.

Supplies:

Remnant pieces of fabrics, matching threads, lace trim if using, small pressure buttons or ribbon, and interfacing. You can use iron on interfacing or just a standard fabric to add stiffness to the collar. I am using calico fabric.
