Recommended MATERIALS and yardage:
• Woven fabric for both main and lining - Suggested fabrics include: quilting cottons, cotton poplins, batistes, and jacquards.
• Hidden zipper 25, 35 or 45 cm. Depends what size you choose to sew.
• Ruler, tape measure, spools of thread to match your fabric (for stretch knit fabric the most common threads used to sew are textured polyester or textured nylon threads, textured threads are ideal for overedge and coverstitch seams because they offer excellent seam coverage and seam elasticity, this kind of thread you can use to avoiding popped seams), scissors or rotary, iron, clips or pins.
• The estimates of the amount of fabric needed for the dress are based on 60” wide (150cm) fabrics.
• Main fabric and Lining Model 1: M0-M12 = 55 cm, Y2-Y6 = 80-110 cm, Y7-Y12 = 110-150 cm. Main fabric and Lining Model 2: Y2-Y6 = 110-150 cm, Y7-Y12 = 150-200 cm.
Model 1: Velvet lace: M0-M12 = 50cm, Y2-Y6 = 60 cm, Y7-Y12 = 75 cm.
Decorative lace: M0-M12 = 80cm, Y2-Y6 = 100 cm, Y7-Y12 = 130 cm.
