The pattern contains a short and a long version. Depending on the version, the fabric usage and number of buttons will change.
Short version:

FABRIC RECOMMENDATION
Medium weight woven fabric with or without spandex made of wool, cotton or blends.
REQUIRED AIDS
- color matching thread in 120Nm to close the seams
- color matching thread in strength 30Nm - 50Nm for topstitching
- 10 or 13 buttons with a diameter of 2.4 cm or larger
- a universal sewing needle with a gauge of 80
- Optional: a second sewing machine on which you can thread the topstitching thread. This way you don't always have to change threads while sewing
