To make the classic shirt or overshirt, you will need :
- A spool of thread to match the fabric
- 2.30 m of fabric, minimum width 1.40 m
- 13 9 mm buttons for the shirt
- 10 15 mm buttons for overshirt
- 50 cm fusible web
- A spool of cord thread for the overshirt (optional)
Recommended fabrics for the classic shirt: crepe, viscose, linen, poplin.
Recommended fabrics for the classic overshirt: denim, flannel, wool, gabardine
