I ordered a pattern but I haven't received it, what should I do?

Hello and thank you very much for your purchase on Wissew. What if you received your order confirmation but not your boss?

Option 1 - Check for spam

The first thing to do is to check if your boss has accidentally landed in PROMOTIONS / SOCIALS emails or in your Spams.

Option 2 - Upload your boss to your customer account (you have created a customer account)

If this is not the case, you can download your patterns in your customer area.

To do this, log in to your account with your email and password. Then go to the "My Orders" section, all your orders appear in a table.

Click on "Details" in the last column to the right of the table. You then arrive on the page summarizing your purchase on Wissew. (As in the picture below)

Scroll down until you see the list of products purchased and click on the name of the pattern to download.

Your pattern will then automatically download to the “Download” section of your computer.

Option 2 - Download your boss even if you didn't have a customer account

To do this, click on "Guest follow-up" at the end of your "Order confirmation" email. Enter your order number (received by email) and your order email, then click on Send.

Scroll down until you see the following table with the list of products purchased and click on the name of the pattern to download.

How to know the supplies needed to make the pattern?

To find out what supplies are needed, go to the model's product page, click on "Material and yardage", you will then find the information you are looking for.

If they are not listed on the model's product page, they will be available in the guide sent with the pdf pattern.


How do I download my PDF pattern?

The files are compressed in .zip format and are sent to you by email.

Phones and tablets do not natively support this format. It is therefore imperative to download from a desktop computer (Mac or PC).

The most recent versions of Windows do this without any prerequisites. If you have any difficulty, you can download WinZip (PC) or Izip (Apple).

Then, to optimize the use of your digital pattern in .pdf format, we recommend that you download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader for PC or Adobe Acrobat Reader for Mac.

By clicking on the link, your computer will offer to open or save it. We strongly recommend that you register it. Then choose a location. The ideal is to create a specific folder for your sewing patterns.

If despite all these tips, you still cannot read your files, take a good breath and try, if possible, using a different computer!

How do I print my pattern well?

Hello to you,

Are you wondering how to print the pattern you just acquired?
As with all conventional prints, you need an A4 printer if your pattern is in A4 format.

However, you need to pay attention to two things to be sure of the right scale:

1- your printer must be properly configured with a 100% scale, so that it does not add any margin to you. In addition, remember to respect the orientation: landscape or portrait.

2- print the test square of your PDF only (small square of an area of ​​the PDF pattern allowing to realize the scale) measure it and check if the scale is the correct one. Once verified, you can print the entire pattern.

If the pattern is in A0 format, which is the actual size, we recommend that you go and use a self-service printer in town instead.

How to become a Wissew designer?

To become a designer on Wissew, nothing could be simpler:

1 - SUBSCRIBE ON WISSEW.COM

On the wissew.com site, click on the padlock in the menu and select the option "SUBSCRIBE" (Image below)

2- CONNECT TO YOUR DESIGNER SPACE

When you are logged in, click on the icon "my account" in the menu and then on "CREATOR WISSEW". (Image below)

3- ASK YOUR CREATOR INFORMATION

Enter your name, first name, email address and phone number. This information is important to us, please enter the correct data. Choose a name for your store and fill in the "Store name (URL)" field, this field must not contain a capital letter and spaces must be replaced by "-".

Ex: if the name of your shop is "L'atelier de Marine", the name of your shop (URL) must be "l-atelier-de-marine".

How can I create a creator profile on Wissew?

1 - ADD A DESCRIPTION FOR YOUR PROFILE

On your creator space, click on "MODIFY PROFILE" and add a description. The description is very important in order to make your future customers want to buy your patterns. Talk about yourself, your motivations and your particularities. The real question is: Why buy from yourself and not from others?

2- FILL IN A PROFILE IMAGE AND A LOGO

Click on "Images" and fill in a profile image and a brand logo (they can be the same two images)

→ Before uploading your images to the site:

Resize the image using photoshop / Sketch / Gimp. The size must be square ⛑ This rule allows us to keep consistency on our site.

Compress the images using: https://compressjpeg.com/ - This step is essential in order to optimize the loading time of your pages.

Rename the images to optimize your SEO. (⚠️ No space, no capital letter, no accent, words must be separated by "-") Ex: createur-wissew-monique

3 - ADD A DESCRIPTION FOR YOUR PROFILE IN ENGLISH

click on "ENGLISH" at the top right and add a description in English. The description in English is essential in order to diversify your clientele.


How do I connect my Stripe account to Wissew?

In order to receive your money, it is essential to connect a stripe account to your Wissew interface.

This link allows you to automatically receive your sales agent in your bank account. You then gain visibility on your earnings in real time.

In order to connect your Stripe account to your interface, connect to your Wissew account, click on “CREATOR WISSEW” in the menu then on “MANAGE STRIPE”. Via the blue button, you can link your Stripe account or create a dedicated Stripe account.

Your Stripe account is linked to your Wissew account when the blue button turns green as in the attached image.

Which printer should I use?

All our PDF patterns are sold in A4 format, to print them a simple family printer will be sufficient.

Some patterns are, in addition to A4 format, available in A0 format. The A0 format allows you to save time on the assembly stage. For these, choose a professional printer or go to a printer. Whether you choose A0 print or A4 print, the end result will be the same.


Are seam allowances included?

In general, the seam allowances are included in all our patterns with some exceptions. However, we advise you to check the pattern assembly manual in order to know the value of the seam allowances.


How do I assemble my PDF pattern?

For A3, A4 and US Letter formats, you can piece together the board using the assembly drawing, remember to cut out the margins if necessary and to neatly glue the sheets together.

I have a security alert when I want to open the PDF file, what should I do?
