Unlike a traditional tie whose fabric shape is doubled and tripled, the 7-ply tie is made from a single large piece of fabric, the clever folding of which gives it the perfect shape, hold and thickness. A must in terms of elegance and refinement.
As pleasing to the eye as it is to the touch, the 7-fold tie is a gem to make, give away and wear with pride!
Supplies:
- Main fabric: 80 cm on width (110 cm minimum)
- Lining: 50 x 50 cm
- DMC embroidery cotton
Recommended material:
silk (basket weave, grenadine, twill, satin, twill), silk combined with cotton or wool, cotton satin, light chambray, fine wool flannel.
Dimensions of the tie: 1.50 m long and 7.5 cm at the widest point.
