The Karima blouse is elegant and romantic. With its long puffed sleeves and basque, it will suit all body types. This blouse is very simple to sew, but full of little details that will make it a charming piece!

This pattern is suitable for beginners!

You'll receive it immediately by e-mail:

- A 20-page illustrated explanatory booklet

- Printing instructions: start by printing the first page of the 100% PDF pattern, and check that your test square is 5*5cm. If it's ok, you can then start printing all the other pages. To assemble the pattern: all sheets are numbered, and you also have markers in the middle of each sheet (gray circle) to help you assemble the sheets together. You can choose to cut or fold the white margins. Happy sewing!

Description

Sizes range from 34 to 50.

Materials required:

For sizes 34-40: 170cm of fabric in a 140cm width OR 200cm of fabric for the lined version

For sizes 42-50: 200cm fabric in 140cm width OR 240cm fabric for lined version

A spool of thread

To make the Karima blouse, you can choose from a wide range of fabrics! You can use viscose linen, viscose, cotton poplin for a stiffer blouse, tencel, a very fine woollen fabric, or wool crepe for a heavier blouse.
Double cotton gauze, broderie anglaise, cotton plumetis and linen are also ideal. You can also choose a contrasting fabric for the sleeves!
Finally, for a very chic piece, you can choose a rather thick fabric, such as cotton jacquard: this will give you a blouse with lots of structure!

For beginners, I recommend a fabric with low elastane content and good hold: viscose linen or cotton poplin would be perfect.

The size guide is included in the booklet. If you're between sizes, I'd advise you to sew the size down, as the Karima blouse is rather loose-fitting.
