Mapulin is a sweater top or dress. The cut is curved at the waist to emphasize it, while keeping the garment loose-fitting. You can sew it with long puffed sleeves tightened at the end with a sheath elastic or three-part sleeves, with a balloon part and a sleeve cuff. The neckline features a large crossover collar that can be worn up or folded in on itself for a completely different style. The dress variant has pockets hidden in the seam, very easy to make. The bottom of the top is finished with a simple fold. You can sew it on a serger or sewing machine.
Seam allowances are included. This pattern was made for a brushed sweater fabric (fleece) with a little elasticity. I made a version in French Terry (thinner boucle sweatshirt), going down a size. You'll find the finished measurements on the chart to give you an idea of the ease.
