Designed for warp and weft fabrics. Do not use knitted fabrics.

This intermediate-level sewing pattern includes sizes 32-50 FR and both versions. You can make a blouse with a plunging v-neck or with a round collar.

MIIA is an original blouse thanks to its oversized collar. The voluminous gathered sleeves amplify the wide cut of this blouse. Wear this blouse with high-waisted pants or a skirt to enhance its volume. This pattern comes in two collar variations: a plunging pointed v-neck and a wide round collar. You can add decorative braids in the front cut-outs and on the collar edges as on version B with a gathered band.

Fabrics

Choose fine, flowing fabrics: satin, crepe, viscose or poplin.

Width of fabric: 1.40m.

Metric (or fabric length) including 10cm margin to allow for shrinkage in the wash:

Version A: Sizes 32-50 2.30m.
Version B: Sizes 32-50 2.80m.

Please note that this yardage is specifically calculated for a 140cm width. It is not suitable for narrower widths.

Iron-on

Choose a fine mesh fusible webbing.
Version A: 0.60m.
Version B: 0.75m.

Haberdashery

Buttons diameter 1-1.5cm. For version A: 6 buttons. For version B: 7 buttons.
Bias 20mm wide. For version A: 43cm. For version B: 33cm.
One spool of polyester sewing thread in matching color.
OPTIONAL: Three thread cones in matching color for the serger. You can either use a similar color you already have, or make a zig-zag if you don't own a serger.
