Metreage required with a 140cm fabric:
- short-sleeved version and trapeze skirt: 1m50 to 1m75
- short-sleeved version and short skater skirt: 2m to 2m20
- short-sleeved version with long skater skirt: 2m80 to 3m
- long-sleeved version and trapeze skirt: 1m80 to 2m10
- long-sleeved version with short skater skirt: 2m30 to 2m50
- long-sleeved version with long skater skirt: 3m20 to 3m40
nb: if you're using a pattern that has a reading direction and you want to respect it, fabric consumption will be higher accordingly. Do a positioning test of your pieces to find out the exact yardage you'll need.
Haberdashery required :
- 40cm fusible webbing
- 40cm invisible fastener
- 5 buttons of 15 to 20mm for the buttonhole version
- 4 buttons from 15 to 20mm for the version with flanged neckline
- 1 button from 15 to 20mm for the classic version
- 2 buttons from 15 to 20mm for the long-sleeved blouse version
Recommended fabrics
The Flora dress requires a fluid fabric to achieve its vaporous fall. Viscose, Lyocell, satin or chiffon are the most suitable materials for your work. It's best to use a light-weight fabric (between 80 and 150gr/l).
If you wish, you can use thicker materials such as denim or gabardine, but the fluid fall will be slightly altered.
