Recommended fabrics: light to medium-weight knit fabric such as cotton jersey, with 30-50% elasticity (10cm of fabric stretches to 13-15cm). Choose a fabric that returns to its original shape after stretching.
The models shown in the photos are sewn in cotton jersey (pink and red) and viscose knit (checks).

The Vague pattern is an undershirt with a funnel neck, batwing sleeves and a superb cut that undulates over the chest and around the shoulders. The cut is slightly fitted at the waist, but comfortable because it's sewn in knit. This under-sweater can take you through autumn and winter, and combines easily with the rest of your wardrobe: pants, cardigans, dresses and skirts. Its original cut allows for color blocking, and you can even imagine it worn with the seams visible on the right side. Quick to sew, you'll have a new undershirt in less than half a day.
The Vague pattern runs from 82cm to 114cm around the chest (see size chart in photo for details).
Vague is an intermediate-level pattern. It is designed to be sewn on a serger, with a 7mm seam allowance, but can also be sewn on a conventional sewing machine. Knowing how to use a twin needle is a plus for hemming. The wavy cut is the most delicate part of the sewing.
