Digital sewing pattern GECKO swimsuit

Gecko is a swim shorts/sports shorts pattern for boys aged 2 to 16.

The pattern comes in two lengths (mid-thigh and over-the-knee).

For a swim short version, you can add a brief lining (fishnet lining) or a boxer lining (lycra).

For sports shorts, choose the boxer lining (in jersey or lycra).

The boxer lining also comes in two lengths, so that if you choose the shorter shorts with the longer lining, the latter will protrude beyond the hem of the shorts for an overly stylish effect!

You can also make the shorts without the lining.

Pockets are optional and trimmed with a wide lapel. The waistband is elasticated with an optional drawstring.

With its rather classic, comfortable cut, Gecko is the ideal swim short to accompany your boys to the beach or during their summer leisure activities. More original, the version with boxer lining provides good support, so Gecko can also be used as sports shorts. Finally, sewn without the lining, Gecko is a simple pair of shorts to sew without moderation!

The version without pockets is quick and easy to sew. The pockets require a little attention to detail. This swim/sport shorts pattern can be made on a sewing machine or with a serger.
