The Jacques sweater honors one of my favorite singers, Jacques Brel. His love songs were with me throughout my teenage years and remain dear to my heart.

Jacques is an oversized model, to be worn over a lavalier-collared shirt or a blouse with puffed sleeves in the spirit of the '40s. It would also be perfect over a small turtleneck sweater and wide-leg pants for a seventies style.

It features a sweetheart neckline and side slits. Wear loose or belted, it's the perfect accessory to finish off a mid-season outfit.

The Jacques sweater is unlined. It is finished with bias-trimmed facing and invisible bias binding around the edges.
