In the long dress version, I can see her in a pretty, plain, heavy crepe as a cocktail dress.

In its short version, it would be the ideal little black dress; wear it with boots to break up the dress' chic side.

For the top version with puffed sleeves, sew it in a fabric with a patterned look, to match with flare pants and mules.

Finally, sew yourself a long skirt version in a flowing floral fabric, to match with a plain tee and sandals, perfect for summer!

And of course... Your sewing machine and serger if you own one!

I recommend a fabric with staying power, not too runny: tweed, poplin, heavy crepe, linen, broderie anglaise, cotton...

If, however, you'd like to use a flowing fabric, you'll need to fusible all the pieces of the bustier to give it hold.
