Go for a ployester or bouclette wool fabric if you want something softer.

You can use wool, wool blend or polyester for the Juliette coat. You'll need a coat-weight fabric (min 450g/m2), such as wool sheeting, coats etc...

The Juliette coat is unlined and fully lined, so you'll need a heavy, thick fabric for a nice fall!
