Couture pattern Woman Skirt La Prodigieuse (S34 to 48) - PDF
❤️ Collection Que la fête commence...
October 2022 saw the release of my second editorial project: Couture for the Holidays, published by Editions Marie-Claire. A collection of festive outfits (of course) that juggle fabrics, shapes, patterns, cuts and more. From the essential little black dress to the unstructured crop top, from the loose but classy jumpsuit to the geometric clutch, there's something for every taste, every level and every desire. Finally, a mini collection entitled "Que la fête commence" (Let the party begin) has been extracted from this book, bringing together the book's leading and innovative pieces.
❤️ La Prodigieuse skirt in a nutshell
The Prodigieuse skirt takes its name from its volume, movement and play of yokes... simply prodigious! A maxi skirt for a maxi effect!
❤️ Level of difficulty
La Prodigieuse is aimed at intermediate seamstresses (or beginners eager for a new challenge), as you'll need to tame large volumes of fabric and potentially different, lightweight materials. Tip: if you want to simplify the creation of this skirt, make La Prodigieuse in a single fabric.
❤️ What you'll find in the pattern
An A4 pattern sheet where you can choose to display your layers by size
One A0 pattern sheet
A projector-format pattern sheet
A detailed and carefully illustrated assembly manual
❤️ Sewing margins not included

Description
✂️ Your shopping list
Fabric: between 200 and 350 cm (140 cm wide) depending on your size and the variations you choose
A 22 cm zipper
A little fusible webbing to reinforce the waistband
✂️ Which fabric to choose?
Depending on the look you want to achieve, you can opt for a light, flowing fabric (viscose, linen, crepe, tencel, light cotton, etc.) that moves with you lightly. If you want a more imposing dress (princess style), you can choose a heavier, thicker fabric (cotton or jacquard). It's up to you... For a "wow" effect
For a "wow" effect, don't hesitate to use lace or tulle to play on the transparency of your skirt bottom yokes. Maximum effect guaranteed!
