Description
The model must be made from a stretch fabric with good shrinkability, i.e. when you stretch and release it, the fabric returns to its original size.
You'll need to determine the elasticity of your fabric. This should be at least 40%. For this, it's not enough to look at the elastane content of the fabric. Take your fabric in the most stretchy direction and put a pin in it (make sure you don't stand on the edge of the fabric). Then place another pin 10 cm from the first and stretch your fabric. The number of extra centimeters corresponds to your degree of elasticity. For example, when I stretch my fabric, it measures 14.5 cm, i.e. 4.5 cm (14.5-10 =4.5) longer. It therefore has an elasticity of 45%.
Sewing Jeanne requires between 95 and 250 cm of fabric, depending on the version you choose. You'll also need a stretch needle and 22 cm of laminette (+ 1 optional twin needle).
