Mirabel is a mini skirt with a gathered waistband and a ruffle at the bottom. With its practical Italian pockets and body-hugging elasticized waistband, it's an easy-to-wear piece that can be worn with both casual and chic outfits. Beginners needn't fear its English seams and rolled hems, which are easier than they look.

This model is designed for hip sizes from 86 to 154 cm.

The Mirabel skirt can be made in a light to medium-weight fabric, such as viscose/rayon poplin or twill and their derivatives (lyocell, tencel, cupro, modal, etc.), linen-viscose or cotton-viscose blends, or linen. The fabric can be very fluid and light, as long as it's dark enough not to show through.

Metric and materials

This model requires between 1m (39.4 in.) and 1m75 (68.9 in.) of fabric and 1 cm (0.4 in.) wide elastic ribbon.
