Description
Anne dresses can be made in a wide variety of light to medium-weight fabrics. Linen, linen-cotton or linen-rayon or cotton-rayon blends, viscose-rayon (and its derivatives such as lyocell, tencel, cupro and modal) are ideal. Veils, broderie anglaise, double gauze or cotton poplin are also possible, but you may need to make a lining. If your fabric is very light, you may need to interlace the yoke pieces for added strength.
To make the Anne dress, you'll need :
Between 2 m (78.8 in.) and 3.25 m (128 in.) of fabric
Some fusible interfacing (optional)
15mm (0.6") diameter buttons
1 cm (0.4") wide elastic (depending on version)
