The main version I've imagined consists of the outer vest with pockets and heart, and the more simplified inner vest without heart and pockets. You can mix and match as much as you like, but this is my basis for describing the fabric dimensions and project in this booklet.

These yardages are based on a 140-cm width.

Main outer fabric (fabric N°1)

This model is designed to be sewn in warp and weft fabrics, i.e. woven fabrics, not knitted fabrics (like knits). You can sew VIK in a multitude of fabric types. Just make sure they blend well between exterior and lining, and aren't too thick for the final look and seams. You can, however, sew VIK into thicker fabrics, in which case I recommend bias-braiding the inner seam values instead of lining the vest.
For the final versions sewn in preparation for this model, I used raw denim lined with light tencel denim, fine, slightly stretchy wool, light tencel and light tencel.
light stretch wool, light gabardine for example. I also made an unlined version with corduroy lining.
