MONSIEUR ERIK should be made in a stretch fabric such as cotton or viscose jersey, or a lightweight summer knit. Some fabrics shrink in the wash. We therefore recommend that you always wash a fabric thoroughly before sewing. Don't forget to take the shrinkage rate of your fabric into account when you
the amount of fabric needed for the project. This is usually expressed as a percentage of the fabric's original dimensions by the manufacturer.
