Description
To sew this swimsuit, we recommend stretch fabrics (in both directions). They need to have at least 50% elasticity and elastane (known as Lycra or Spandex) in their composition. Synthetic materials (polyester, polyamide) offer good resistance to wear and aging, while drying quickly. When it comes to lining, you need a fabric with good stretch in both directions, and one that's thin enough to dry quickly. Foam" lining is the most recommended. Fine jersey is also suitable, but will take longer to dry.
Specific flat, thin elastic is needed to support most of the seams of the Moé jersey. Several brands are suitable: Framilastic, Laminette or Lastin. Foam thread is recommended for its softness and elasticity. You'll need to use a stretch needle on your sewing machine.
