Description
To sew this swimsuit, we recommend stretch fabrics (in both directions). They need to have at least 20% elasticity and elastane (known as Lycra or Spandex) in their composition. Synthetic materials (polyester, polyamide) offer good resistance to wear and aging, while drying quickly. When it comes to lining, you need a fabric with good stretch in both directions, and one that's thin enough to dry quickly. Foam" lining is the most recommended, but fine jersey is also suitable.
Specific flat, thin elastic is needed to support most of the seams of the Hina jersey. Several brands are suitable: Framilastic, Laminette or Lastin. Foam thread is recommended for its softness and elasticity. Sew with a stretch needle on your sewing machine. You may need to use spaghetti cord if you don't make the knots yourself.
