This pattern and tutorial allow you to create beautiful shorts for yourself with an optional adjustable waistband, stunning details and a professional finish using French seams.

The MARLO pattern along with all other pattern in the shop, was designed for you to grow or shrink into it as your body go through the stages of having children so you don’t have to change your wardrobe every few months.

Because every body is different, this pattern was created to be of a comfortable fit.

Please follow the measurement chart to see where you would be most comfortable in with room to grow. 

If pregnant, I would suggest Choosing one or two sizes up and make the adjustable waistband so you can wear it as you grow during your pregnancy and postpartum.

Recommended fabrics:

I particularly enjoy and recommend natural, recycled and sustainable fabrics. Linen being my favourite I would suggest you choose a medium weight fabric for best results such as cotton, hemp and linen.
