Sewing pattern for teenage girl DJANGO jeans or cargo pants - PDF

Django is a pattern for jeans or cargo pants for girls aged 2 to 16.

The cut is fitted at the hips, and the legs are wide and straight.

Two versions are available. The first, with false fly and elasticated waistband, is particularly suitable for young children and is easy to make. The second, with zipper fly and buttoned waistband (compulsory from age 12), is better suited to teenagers, but requires more attention to detail. The latter features back darts, and for a better fit, a buttoned elastic can be inserted in the waistband.

Various pocket options are available: front pockets with or without gusset pockets, patch pockets on the back with or without tabs, and side pockets (cargo pockets).

You can add belt loops and rivets on the upper pocket corners. Contrast thread stitching rounds out the look.

This denim or cargo pant pattern is not difficult to sew, but requires a little time, especially for the version with zipper fly and if you choose all pocket options.
