The Hibiscus jacket is available in 3 versions (A, B and C), distinguished by their necklines.

Version A: jacket with rounded neckline, perfect for everyday wear.

Version B: jacket with a tailored collar, for a more chic look.

Version C: jacket with shawl collar, for a warm version or even a coat, depending on the fabric chosen.

The 3 versions can be sewn short or long, with or without belt (and belt loops). The short version has patch pockets, while the long version has larger pockets in the side and neck seams.

The Hibiscus jacket has no lining, making it quick and easy to sew. Particularly for the A version, whose neckline presents no assembly difficulties.

To make sewing easier for you:

-All pdf patterns now have tracings by size and no frame to cut out.

-Sewing margins are included.

Description

Pattern in sizes 34 to 46.

Level: Beginner-intermediate. Level varies according to pattern: version A is the most accessible, version B requires the most precision.

Fabric choice: Depending on the version, you can choose from different fabrics! Quilted jersey of varying thickness, or quilted double gauze for versions A and C. A jacquard will work well with all 3 versions! For the extended C version, don't hesitate to choose a heavier fabric, such as a woollen fabric, to make a warm jacket.

Note 1: For version B, you can play with the color of the facing, which is visible on the turned-down collar. In this case, allow for the quantity of fabric required.

Note 2: For version B, it's important to have a fabric that marks the folds (for the collar fold).

Supplies (140 cm wide fabric) :

-Short version: 160 cm fabric including facing.

-Long version: 180 cm of fabric, including trimming.

-Add 40 cm for belt.
