- 1.5 m fabric for top / 2 to 3 m for dress (depending on desired length)
- Bias (explanations include the possibility of making it in the chosen fabric)

Recommended fabrics :

For best results (and ease of sewing), it's best to choose an easy-to-sew fabric with a little hold, such as cotton or linen. Cotton gauze is also a good choice for beginners.
You can also opt for more fluid fabrics like viscose or muslin for a different style.
The Livia pattern is not suitable for elastic fabrics such as jersey.
